Eoghan Hanley

Eoghan was teaching in Gort Community School, Co. Galway for 12 years and was Transition Year Coordinator there for 5 years. He is now seconded to the GAA where he is National Coordinator of GAA Future Leaders Programme. Eoghan started the Programme in his school in 2015/16 with 56 TY pupils. Since June 2016 he has worked with the Future Leaders Steering Committee and the Professional Development Service for Teachers to develop and expand the programme nationwide. It is now one of the fastest growing TY programmes in the country with 357 schools and approximately 22000 TY pupils completing it.
